ARTE Y DISIDENCIA SEXUAL. Algunos modos de visibilidad, enunciación y representación del cuerpo

Resumen del Libro

Uno de los objetivos de esta obra es el de reflexionar sobre otras formas de placer "inhabituales" para una mayoría modélica, que han sido pensadas, exhibidas y plasmadas por los y las artistas. Siguiendo a Michel Foucault: "Contra el dispositivo de sexualidad, el punto de apoyo del contrataque no debe ser el sexo-deseo, sino los cuerpos y los placeres". Otro objetivo es el de mostrar determinados modos en los que se hizo posible enunciar, simbolizar, representar y visibilizar la disidencia sexual en diferentes momentos socio-históricos en Literatura y en Artes Visuales (fotografía, escultura, cine, performances, pintura, instalaciones), partiendo del período comprendido entre los siglos XIX y XXI. Se partió de insistencias, que conectaron a Jean Broc, Aubrey Beardsley, Oscar Wilde, Gustave Moreau, Jean Genet, Marcel Jouhandeau, Enio Iommi, André Gide, Yukio Mishima, Ilse Fuskova, Judy Chicago, Gina Pane, Francis Bacon, Robert Gober, Robert Mapplethorpe, Fakir Musafar, Del LaGrace Volcano, Siri Gurudev, entre otros. El lector y la lectora avezados en Arte encontrarán en este libro un breve compendio que podrán articular con Estudios Queer o de disidencia sexual. Quienes ya han incursionado en las temáticas de género podrán proveerse de herramientas ilustrativas con las cuales pensar modos de construcción de la subjetividad de las personas queer o disidentes sexuales, a partir de las manifestaciones estéticas.
