Architectural guide to the city of Guadalajara, with a selection of close to 300 buildings representative of all time periods. The guide is divided in 3 sections: the first, the largest and medullar part of the book is the presentation of the buildings; a second section is an inventory of buildings important in the history of the city but now disappeared, and a third section includes location maps with recommended itineraries and routes. Each entry includes the name, date and brief history of the building and the name of the architect.

Esta obra elabora una visión de la Arquitectura del mundo antiguo occidental desde un enfoque específico: el estudio de los diferentes modelos de edificios que surgen como respuesta al desarrollo de los primeros grandes estados. El análisis y la evolución de estas edificaciones, su validez como espacio destinado a cumplir delimitadas funciones o su incapacidad para ello y, por tanto, su reducida implantación son aspectos a los que esta obra presta especial atención, sin olvidar las diferentes tipologías de ciudad, en las que estos modelos aparecen, tan novedades, creativas y...

This monumental work is a detailed catalogue of the public architecture competitions in Argentina between 1825 and 2006. It is organized chronologically, and each entry includes information on the competition itself (location, dates, sponsors, juries, etc.) and the construction, as well as a brief history and bibliography. The entire book is rich in images, including photographs, maps, and architectural plans.

La presente obra ofrece al lector un conocimiento más profundo y detallado de los acontecimientos y tendencias más relevantes de la arquitectura moderna entre 1922 y 1945 en los Países Bajos. Nace con el objetivo de ser un trabajo de referencia en español, dada la ausencia prácticamente total de bibliografía en nuestro idioma sobre el tema.
