Se trata de una novela histórico costumbrista, ubicada en el gran valle del mezquital del estado de hidalgo, es una historia de un hombre, quien narra su vida y algunos echos históricos de los cual es testigo en primera persona. También es testigo de los pormenores que conlleva la construcción de una presa, la cual lejos de beneficiar a los lugareños los perjudico, ya que los tuvieron que evacuar y reubicarlos en varios lugares, el clímax de mi novela es la construcción de dicha presa donde el protagonista es cabo de albañiles, llega a su madurez, conoce el placer y puede diferenciar...
