Marcos L. Howard vive en Espana, junto con su esposa Sarah, desde el ano 1984 y tienen tres hijos. Marcos se licencio en filologia inglesa en Asbury College en 1978. Consiguio su primer master en la ensenanza del ingles como idioma extranjero de la Universidad de Ball State en 1985, y un segundo master en estudios biblicos del Seminario Teologico de Asbury en el ano 2000.
