Builds English grammar skills for Spanish speaking people. Shows how verbs in their many forms and tenses are used in conversation.

At the Charmartin station, a student named Frank waits in line to buy his return ticket to Paris. Right behind him is Marta. Meanwhile, Federico arrives in Sydney, unaware of when or how he boarded the airplane that took him from his bed all the way to Australia.

Designed for more advanced introductory-level students, Spanish for Communication develops the basic language skills necessary for successful communication in everyday situations. Mujeres de hoy: textos, voces e imagenes is a content-based collection of works by Spanish, Spanish American, and Latina women designed for upper-level literature courses. Each chapter, which includes two literary selections by women writers, examines different sides of the same topic under exploration. These topics explore contemporary issues that challenge current thinking such as immigration, minority groups, race, religion, social status, and ecology.
