Resumen del Libro

Marina y su familia vive en Villasoles, un pequeño pueblo de interior. A la niña le gusta pasear con su padre y recoger caracoles y sus conchas tras la lluvia. Los guarda en una caja. Su padre le dice que tiene un tesoro. Un día al padre de Marina, vendedor de helados, se lo llevan preso por decir lo que piensa. A partir de entonces, Marina no habla y solo piensa en cómo rescatar a su padre. Junto a su amigo Hugo, decide escapar a la ciudad en el único tren que pasa por Villasoles para ir a buscar al padre de Marina y pagar el rescate con el tesoro de la caja de caracoles.
