The recent boom of Chilean architecture of international and national recognition has been widely documented and promoted in mass publications, books and specialized journals. This book is a collaboration project between different architects that contribute to this process with critical texts of the historic contexts and problems faced by the urban-architectural practice in Chile, highlighting how the political-cultural events of the last 3 decades has influenced local construction. With texts by Jorge Fco. Liernur, Fernando Pérez, Federico Deambrosis and Pedro Bannen, and a prologue by Alfredo Jocelyn-Holt.
