Cursó estudios en los colegios Ruston Academy y Belén y en Agosto de 1960 salió al exilio junto con sus Padres y Hermanos. Terminó sus estudios en Blair Academy y en el University of Pennsylvania. Trabajó y vivió en la ciudad de Nueva York y en distintos paises de América Latina. Ha viajado extensivamente por Europa y Asía. Hoy en día vive junto a su esposa Martine C. Paulin en Key Biscayne, Florida, Estados Unidos.
