Ponemos en manos del lector el quinto volumen de estos Anales del cine en México, 1895-1911; cuyo propósito es el de entender y explicar el primer cine que surgió en el país en su contexto histórico y social, y ofrecer un relato que articule aparatos, productores y exhibidores, salas y espectadores, acontecimientos relevantes y obras cinematográficas, comentaristas y críticos.

La fotógrafa Julia Grover, presenta en su primer libro Cosquín; Paisajes deslumbrantes, 91 fotografías de una ciudad bendecida por una naturaleza pródiga, que se revela con desbordante belleza, para cautivar a todo aquel que se detiene un instante.

This is an anthropological essay that studies social dynamics of Mexicos city from the perspective of its inhabitants. An analysis about the relationship of their everyday life with the history of the city is made from questionnaires and the exhibitions of images to a group of people- taxi drivers, traffic cops, deliverymen of goods, students, housewives, street sellers and middle class motorists.
