Tengo en las manos las pruebas del libro de Aarón Sánchez, “Así lo vi”. Observo las fotografías del México y el mundo de los últimos 50 años y encuentro y reencuentro rostros, paisajes y acontecimientos en los cuales compartí el trabajo con este infatigable reportero gráfico cuya inabarcable obra apenas queda insinuada en esta selección la cual, como todas, resulta incompleta.

HerSelf no son los demás ni las demás, es ella misma. Este libro muestra lo que ella puede ser por lo que es, en imágenes, texturas, sugerencias, necedad, resignación a la belleza, idealismo, reticencia, esencialmente, fe en lo que puede ser ella de un modo u otro. Tacto, daltonismo, sinestesia ambigua y sublime que propone y resume en una misma imagen múltiple lo mismo: una mujer.
