A comienzos de la década de los ochenta, se editó Toledo en la fotografía del Alguacil, 1832-1914 un magnífico libro realizado por historiadores toledanos a través del que se rescató del olvido, y se dio a conocer, la figura de Casiano Alguacil. Mediante este estudio, resultado de una labor de investigación en bibliotecas, hemerotecas y archivos fotográficos de distintas instituciones, se pretende demostrar el merecido lugar que Casiano Alguacil ocupa dentro de la historia de la fotografía, ya que, sin duda, fue uno de los mejores fotógrafos españoles de la segunda mitad del siglo...

The book presents the photographs that Vertiz (b. México) shot while traveling for 1 year in India. Poets Blanco (b. México) and Cross write inspired in Vertiz' graphic recollection of the beauty and hardships of the day-to-day in India.

Noted novelist and short story writer Juan Rulfo (b. México), was also an accomplished photographer whose black and white photographs were seldom published in his lifetime. The book reviews a selection of his photographs taken between 1940's and 1960's.

This is an anthropological essay that studies social dynamics of Mexicos city from the perspective of its inhabitants. An analysis about the relationship of their everyday life with the history of the city is made from questionnaires and the exhibitions of images to a group of people- taxi drivers, traffic cops, deliverymen of goods, students, housewives, street sellers and middle class motorists.
